Grief is incredibly complex and often misunderstood. Throughout our lifetime, we may experience more than 40 different types of loss, from the death of a loved one to relationship breakdowns, moving away from one’s community, and more. Unfortunately, we often rely on the wrong tool—our brains—when navigating grief.
This gathering equips participants with grounding tools and techniques to release unhelpful cognitive thoughts, reconnect with their emotions, and use their hearts to heal from loss. Through various activities, the Ember of Hope team supports participants in working through a broad spectrum of grief and loss experiences.
